IWAG has grown over the years, and we have learnt what’s relevant as an organization and as a convention to ensure our attendees feel safe and at home at our con, along with the considerations that we need to account for to our venue, environment, and the privacy of our attendees. Hence, we have updated our full Code of Conduct, Terms and Conditions, and Privacy Policy.

To keep our attendees and stakeholders updated, here’s a summary of all the changes on our legal paperwork:

Code of Conduct

  • Added “The Basics” summary section for the most common codes.
  • Elaborated on the content rating of the convention.
  • Elaboration of Event Pass Information, Event Pass Transfers, No-Shows.
  • Elaborated Registration and Authentication requirements including attendees’ Photo ID scope of use.
  • Highlighted badge sharing violation consequence.
  • Updated registration authentication details on 14-16 year old attendees.
  • Updated scope of authentication of other events operated by IWAG.
  • Further elaboration on restricted items.
  • Added section for Fursuit Lounge.
  • Added section about fursuit and cosplay Props.
  • Refactored Attributes and Upkeep section highlighting dresscode and personal hygiene.
  • Updated points regarding recording restrictions on independent panels, and requests for deletion by fellow attendees.
  • Additional terms for preserving venue cleanliness and where to put freebies.
  • Further elaboration for Food and Beverages sales.
  • New section regarding Commercial Activity, and related policies for Dealers Den.
  • New section for Hotel Rooms and Facilities, including noise levels, room parties, and shared hotel facilities.
  • Added Policy for Media and Press Coverage.
  • Added Private Event Notice
